Harmeet Kahlon is a leading PGA of Canada - Golf Coach and International Golf Player , Asian Tour Winner and one of India’s all time best Amateur and Professional Players while representing India for 22 years.
He is the only Indian to ever win the Nomura Cup Asia Pacific Amateur and the only Indian Player to win the Singapore Amateur , Pakistan Amateur , All India Amateur National Championships and SAARC Championships.
He represented Asia in the Inaugural Europe v/s Asia Pacific Team Championship and beat the European Champion in Australia in 1998.
He holds the record for consecutively being the No 1 Amateur in India from 1993-98 besides excelling Academically by securing 1 st Position in the Punjab University Correspondence Department Masters in Public Administration .
In 2002, just beginning his Professional career, he won his first professional victory, the Asian Tour Hero Honda Masters. Later in his career, Kahlon won 3 more National Professional Tournaments in India.

Harmeet received the Arjuna Award in 1997 for his outstanding sporting –Golf Achievements and also received a Special Award from the Government of India for winning an International Tournanament- the Asia Pacific Nomura Cup and is also a Rotary- Paul Harris Fellow. He is also a recipient of the Punjab Government Roll of Honour for Gold Medal in Nationals 1997 , the Chandigarh Administration Award , Chandigarh Golf Club Captains Day Most Distinguished Golfer, All India Free Lance Journalists Association Excellence In Public Service. Harmeet has over 35 years of practical and theoretical knowledge and experience of International Golf Infrastructure including the worlds best Golf Academies, Golf Course Design and Golf Maintainence, Golf Programmes, Golf Technology etc.
He has contributed to create in India International Standard Golf Infrastructure at Mohali Golf Range Academy - Responsible for the design , start up and functioning of one of India’s Largest Stand Alone Fully Floodlit Golf Learning and Practise Facilities built as per international standards by Greater Mohali Area Development Authority which was Awarded for the Best Facilities provided by any State Development Authority in India .
He is the only individual to conduct many Free Golf Programmes for “Special” Children, Senior Citizens, Women, Play on the Golf Course with Children initiative, senior citizens golf coaching progarmee for non members also, free caddy coaching programme, summer and winter golf camps for juniors and sub juniors, conduct of Junior Golf Tournaments, organized awards function, contributed to the design and development of the Junior Golf Range.
He holds a bachelor of Commerce Degree and Masters in Public Administration and is a Former Member Board of Directors Professional Golf Tour of India , Former Chairman ,TPC –Tour Policy Committee- PGTI,
Harmeet has contributed to enrich through Sports and the Olympic Sport of Golf the lives of approximately 2000 Retired Senior Citizens , “Special Children” , Ladies, Caddies etc at the grassroots level by making Golf as broadbased and affordable for all sections of societies including young boys and girls as young as 3 years of age.
