Patrick Little
About
Patrick began his career in 1971 as Assistant to Don Buchkan at Edmonton's Glendale Golf & Country Club. That was followed by time as an Associate professional to Derek Gibson at Royal Mayfair, also in Edmonton.
After a total apprenticeship of 11 years, Patrick assumed the position as Head Professional at Vernon Golf & Country Club, Vernon, British Columbia. There he stayed for 22 years in that capacity before buying his own 9 hole course in Port Alberta, British Columbia. At the Hollies Executive Golf Course, Patrick subsequently became Head Professional, Manager, and Course Superintendent all rolled into one position.
After 14 years as owner/operator, he retired and relocated to Procter in British Columbia's West Kootenays. There he lives with his golf hall of fame wife, Jackie. There they joined the local Balfour Golf Course and golf regularly. He has already shot his age, and completed his memoir of the golf industry titled: "Summer place"
Married for over 4 decades to Jackie Little, they have two wonderful grown up kids, Robert and Janine.
Career Accomplishments: Best 18 hole round-62, BC PGA Junior Development Award, Nominated one other time. Lifetime PGA member, Shot his age at 67, Long time instructor to 4 time Hall of Fame Amateur Jackie Little.
