Scott Stiles
About
Scott was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, has been immersed in the game of golf since the age of three. His early love for the sport evolved into a successful competitive career in junior and amateur golf, highlighted by two Alberta Amateur titles (2008, 2011) and a runner-up finish at the Canadian Amateur in 2011.
Scott played collegiate golf for one year at Simon Fraser University before transferring to Oral Roberts University, where he completed his final three years and graduated with a degree in Business Marketing. After turning professional in 2011, Scott competed on the Canadian Tour (PGA Tour Canada) from 2012 to 2015, gaining invaluable experience at the professional level.
In 2017, Scott joined the PGA of Canada and has been dedicated to teaching golf full-time ever since. Since 2020, he has been an instructor at Earl Grey Golf Club, where he became the Head Teaching Professional in 2022. Scott specializes in all aspects of the game, with a focus on the short game, putting, and on-course game management. He works with golfers of all skill levels, including high-performance juniors, amateurs, and young professionals, striving to help each student enjoy the game more.
Scott’s teaching philosophy draws heavily on his extensive playing experience, allowing him to connect with students and tailor instruction to their individual needs. His excellence as an instructor has been recognized with several awards, including:
