With over 30 years in the game, Todd Halpen has worn many hats: student, professional tour player, entrepreneur, coach, and mentor. His goal? To help you become awesome at golf.
Competitive Legacy
Todd's passion for golf began in Calgary, where he honed his skills through the junior programs at Willow Park and Lacombe Golf Clubs. As a junior, Todd represented Team Alberta and earned top placements in provincial and national competitions. His collegiate career at the University of Victoria was just as impressive, where he captained the Men’s Golf Team to three national championships and claimed 2nd place at the 2006 Canadian Amateur, leading to two PGA Tour appearances at the Canadian Open (2006, 2008). A member of the 2007 National Team, Todd competed globally before turning professional and earning his Canadian Tour card.
Teaching Expertise
Since joining the PGA of Canada in 2011, Todd has dedicated himself to teaching golf to players of all levels. His background as a tour player, combined with his entrepreneurial ventures like Golfers Toolbox and Golf & Tacos, and his degree in Behavioral Psychology from UVic, positions him to unlock your potential. Whether you're working on driving, iron play, short game, or putting, Todd's instructional approach blends clarity, technology, and actionable advice to ensure measurable improvement.
