About
I started my career in golf in 1997 at Angus Glen Golf Course as a Guest Service Attendant. After 2 seasons at Angus Glen, I went to Nobleton Lakes Golf Course and spent 5 years there. In 2000 I played into the PGA of Canada and got the Pro Shop experience I was lacking. After 5 years at Nobleton Lakes I went up to Windermere in Muskoka and spent 2 years in the Pro Shop. After Windermere, I got a position as the 1st Assistant and Islington Golf Club in my home town of Etobicoke. I spent 7 years at Islington under the guidance of Phil Kavanagh. I decided to change it up and move west in 2013 to Banff Springs Golf Course. I took a position and pay cut to come out and get more experience at one of Canada's top courses. In my 3rd year at Banff Springs Golf Course I was promoted to Head Professional. Now in my 5th year at Banff Springs Golf Course and my 3rd year as the Head Professional I am very happy I made the decision to move west and grow. The experiences I have had at each golf course has made me into the PGA of Canada Member I am today. I big thanks goes to Kevin Thistle, Greg Hickey, Mark DeActis, Phil Kavanagh, Simon Jones and Steven Young.
