Class "A" Professional

Class "A" Professional means a Class “A” member who is retained or employed under agreement in one of the following examples;

“Associate Professional” means a member employed as such by a Head Professional

"Unattached" means a member who is not employed in the golf industry

"Golf Administrator" means a Member who is employed on a full-time basis in a golf industry related position in management, ownership, consulting, operation and/or financing.

"Golf Faculty" means a Member who is employed on a full-time basis, in a PGA of Canada recognized academic program to teach in golf-related capacity at a PGA of Canada recognized educational institution or association.

"Golf Technician" means a Member who is employed on a full-time basis in the business of club fitting/repair. A Golf Technician must be affiliated with a PGA of Canada Approved Driving Range or a PGA of Canada Approved Golf Course.

"Golf Course Architect/Builder" means a Member who is employed on a full-time basis in the design of golf courses as an architect or a Member who is employed on a full-time basis in an ownership or management capacity as a golf course builder.

"Golf Course Superintendent" means a Member who is employed on a full-time basis in the management, operation, and maintenance of a PGA of Canada Approved Golf Course. These Members must satisfy the criteria of Golf Course Superintendent as defined by the Canadian Golf Course Superintendent’s Association.

"Golf Media" means a member who is employed on a full-time basis in the reporting, editing, writing, commentating, broadcasting or publishing of golf related publications in any form of media.

"Golf Manufacturer Management" means a Member who is employed on a full-time basis in an executive, administrative or supervisory position with a golf industry manufacturer or golf industry distributor.

"Golf Manufacturer Sales Representative" means a Member who is employed on a full-time basis by one or more golf manufacturing or distribution companies involves in the wholesale and distribution of golf merchandise or golf-related supplies to golf facilities, retail stores or other golf outlets.
