An Assistant Golf Coach supports the Head Golf Coach, primarily focusing on the development of an athlete’s tactical and technical skills.

An Assistant Professional is employed or retained at a PGA of Canada approved golf course with no managerial responsibilities in golf operations whose primary focus is the golf shop.

An Associate Professional is employed or retained at a PGA of Canada approved golf course with an elevated supporting management role in golf operations whose primary focus is the golf shop.

A Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the highest-ranking executive in a company

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a senior executive tasked with overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of a business

A Club Fitting Specialist is employed or retained by a golf manufacturer and is responsible for delivering industry-leading fitting advice, product knowledge and customer service to enhance golfers’ performance.

A Director of Operations is employed or retained to manage at least two departments or oversees multiple operation centers and must include golf operations. i.e. more than 18 holes; or golf course and academy at a PGA of Canada approved golf course. 

A Director of Golf is employed or retained to manage at least two departments or oversees multiple operation centers and must include golf operations. i.e. more than 18 holes; or golf course and academy at a PGA of Canada approved golf course. 

A Director of Instruction is employed or retained by a facility and is responsible for the management of the teaching operation at a PGA of Canada approved golf course, teaching centre and/or driving range.

A person retired from WORKING AS A GOLF professional but retained and employed BY CLUB as an honorary title

A General Manager is employed or retained by the facility and is responsible for the entire operation of the facility including but not limited to golf operations, administration, food and beverage and course maintenance at a PGA of Canada approved golf course.

A Head Golf Coach oversees the overall development of an athlete including physical, tactical, mental, and technical

A Head Professional is employed or retained by the facility and is responsible for the golf operations at 9 hole or 18-hole facility at a PGA of Canada approved golf course.

A Head Teaching Professional is employed or retained by a facility and is responsible for the management of the teaching operation at a PGA of Canada approved golf course, teaching centre and/or driving range.

A Manager of Golf Operations is employed or retained by the facility and is responsible for the entire operation of the facility including but not limited to golf operations, administration, food and beverage and course maintenance at a PGA of Canada approved golf course.

An Owner/Operator is a golf course owner who also runs the day-to-day operations of the golf course.

A Professional may be or may not be employed or retained in the golf industry in a role such as but not limited to golf faculty, golf technician, golf course architect, golf course builder, golf course superintendent, golf manufacturer management, golf media or golf association administrator. If not working in the golf industry, they would not be listed at a facility. 

A Pro-Manager is employed or retained by the facility and is responsible for the entire operation of the facility including but not limited to golf operations, administration, food and beverage and course maintenance at a PGA of Canada approved golf course.

A Sales Representative is employed or retained by a golf manufacturer and is responsible for selling products or services for a golf company. 

A Teaching Professional is employed or retained at a PGA of Canada approved teaching centre and/or driving range with no managerial responsibilities in the teaching operation whose primary focus is to teach and instruct golf lessons.
