Meet the Panel
Courtney Campbell-Leveck
Head Professional - Gleneagles Golf Course & Ambleside Par 3 in West Vancouver, BC
Courtney is a dedicated PGA of Canada golf professional, mentor, and advocate for women and inclusivity for all in golf. She is the Head Professional of Gleneagles Golf Course & Ambleside Par 3 in West Vancouver, BC. She has been a member of our association for 18 years and has been committed to growing the game and creating opportunities for golfers of all abilities.
She has worked across Canada and in California. She is currently serving her 3rd year as a Board of Director for the PGA of BC and was recently a committee member for the PGA of Canada's, Women's Golf Advisory Group.
Courtney created and founded Birdies Babes Golf, a program designed to empower and connect women and companies through the game she loves.
Through collaborations with Birdies, she has worked with companies such as Golf Canada, the Scotiabank Women’s Initiative, and the new Vancouver Rise FC soccer team, to expand opportunities for women in golf and in sport.
Salimah Mussani
Stollery Family Head Coach, Team Canada – Women
Salimah Mussani is the Stollery Family Team Canada Head Coach for Women’s Golf and a former professional golfer. Born and raised in Ontario, she started playing golf at the age of 13 and went on to have a distinguished career in the sport.
A Stanford University graduate, Salimah played professionally for seven years, achieving 11 victories across various tours. Her accomplishments include wins on the PGA of Canada, the Canadian Tour, and the Epson Tour, where she captured a Major title. She also secured victories in South Africa and India.
Now based in Vancouver, BC, Salimah is dedicated to coaching and developing the next generation of Canadian golfers at the highest level.
Jayna Hefford
Senior Vice-President, Hockey Operations – PWHL
4-time Olympic Gold Medalist
HHOF & Canada Sports Hall of Fame
Jayna Hefford is one of the most decorated Canadian Olympians of all-time and won multiple medals at the Winter Olympics and IIHF World Women's Championships as well as titles in the National Women's Hockey League and Canadian Women's Hockey League.
She helped Canada win four-straight Olympic gold medals from 2002 to 2014 and famously scored the gold-medal winning goal at the 2002 Winter Olympics. At the professional club level across three leagues, she scored 439 goals in 418 competitive games including a CWHL record 44 goals in 2008-09.
She was selected as only the 6th female in history to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame on June 26, 2018. Raised in Kingston, Ontario – her childhood #15 jersey has been retired by the Kingston Minor Hockey Association and hangs from the rafters in all of their arenas.
Hefford now holds the position of Senior Vice-President, Hockey Operations for the Professional Women’s Hockey League and has been one of the leading voices of the PWHL movement over the last decade.
In 2019, Hefford was inducted into the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame and was the recipient of the Order of Hockey in Canada as well.
