PGA of Canada says goodbye to Adam LeBrun, Taking on a New Endeavour after 22 years in the golf industry
Adam LeBrun, a long-time member of the PGA of Canada National Staff who has worked the past 12 years to improve the association recently let the association know that he will be leaving the industry to take on a new opportunity as General Manager of the Guelph Curling Club.
After spending 10 years as Tournament Coordinator with Golf Canada, LeBrun joined the PGA of Canada in June of 2010 as Managing Director, Championships and Foundation, during which time he led the planning and execution of over 50 National Championships.
In addition to running world-class events for PGA of Canada Professionals throughout the country, LeBrun was integral in the inception of the RBC PGA Scramble. Through LeBrun’s leadership, the program has grown to be the largest team golf event in Canada, with over 12,000 participants in 2021.
On top of his work with the association’s championships, LeBrun worked on many philanthropic endeavors through the PGA of Canada Foundation, providing scholarship opportunities to PGA of Canada members and their families, bursaries to members continuing their development, and helping to recently launch the Benevolent Fund to aid members in need.
In 2021, LeBrun took on a new challenge as the PGA of Canada’s Director of Marketing and Brand, aiding in the development of the Strategic Plan that will guide the association through the next five years of operations.
Through his time with the PGA, Adam has been a fantastic mentor to young staff and a true leader in the industry. We wish Adam all the best as he takes on the next chapter of his career at the Guelph Curling Club.
Adam's final day with the PGA of Canada will be April 14.
