PGA of Canada Remembers Honorary Director and Life Member Keith Tucker (1935-2020)
April 21, 2020 - The PGA of Canada is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of honorary director and life member Keith Tucker. Keith passed away on April 20, 2020, at 84-years-of-age.
Tucker had an illustrious career in the golf industry spanning nearly 70 years.
"His contributions to the game and Canadian golfing community were second-to-none," said PGA of Canada CEO Kevin Thistle this morning. "Keith will be remembered as a kind-hearted and generous man, revered by his family, friends and fellow colleagues."
Tucker was recognized as an honorary life member last June in front of a packed boardroom of close friends and family at the PGA of Canada's national office.
"He was as proud as if we won The Masters," recalled Thistle during an interview with Golf News Now.
Keith was also an honorary director of the association, a position he held near and dear to his heart.
Given the health concerns of COVID-19, a memorial service will be held later in the year when restrictions on public gatherings are lifted.
