The PGA of Canada and Callaway Golf have landed a new three-year deal that will keep them involved with the association through the 2025 season, acting as the presenting sponsor of the Head Professional Championship of Canada and the Assistants’ Championship of Canada.
“On behalf of the PGA of Canada, our national board of directors’ and every member from across the country, we can’t thank Callaway enough for their continued support of our association and golf throughout Canada,” said PGA of Canada CEO Kevin Thistle. “Callaway Golf has been a long-time friend of the PGA of Canada and we are thrilled to continue working together with them.” Through an unwavering commitment to innovation, Callaway Golf Canada creates products designed to make every golfer better. Callaway Golf Canada manufactures and sells golf clubs, golf balls and golf accessories under the Callaway Golf and Odyssey brands worldwide. “I am so pleased that our team at Callaway will have the opportunity to further our relationship with the PGA of Canada,” said Callaway Golf Canada’s General Manager Bruce Carroll. "Our commitment to the PGA of Canada professional has never been stronger and we are excited to continue with both National Championships that have become such a great and rare opportunity to have so many PGA Professionals together at the same time.” In 2021, Branson Ferrier claimed the PGA Assistants' Championship of Canada and Nick Kenney won the PGA Head Pro Championship of Canada, which was played on Canadian soil for the first time in nearly 20 years. The venues for the 2022 PGA Head Professional Championship of Canada and the PGA Assistants Championship of Canada will be announced in the coming weeks.
