Some golf holes are just flat-out fun; there isn’t a better word to describe it.

Whether it is a short par-3 with a bowl for a green that feeds opportunistic player’s shots towards the pin, a short par-4 primed for scoring, an attackable par-5 that rewards two good shots in a row with an eagle opportunity, something with a view, or anything in-between, there is no shortage of FUN golf holes in Canada.

But which hole is the most fun of them all?

After the success of the NoSweat Hardest Hole in Canada bracket in 2021, when the 13th hole of the Pulpit Club in Ontario was voted by Canadians as the hardest hole in the country, we are bringing the format back alongside our good friends at NoSweat to find the hole that keeps you coming back.

What makes a golf hole fun? We asked a few of our industry media friends for their thoughts:

“Golf’s hard enough as it is. The game is even vexing for the best in the world. So when you stumble upon a fun hole, that’s just the best,” says Canadian golf media personality and frequent PGA of Canada contributor Adam Stanley. “A fun golf hole can be any number of things - a scoreable shorty. An open runway where the only play is to go full send. Or even an intimate trickster where you can’t help but laugh. Find me a hole that makes you feel something, and you’ve found the fun.”

“To me a golf hole that is fun can be easy or hard, short or long, but it has to have something special to it,” says TSN’s Bob Weeks. “It could be because of the scenery, creativity or challenge that makes you want to play it again, right away.”

Following the same format as our search for the hardest hole in country, we will first open the contest for nominations.

Simply follow THIS LINK and submit the hole that you think is the most fun. If selected to be a part of the bracket, YOUR description of the hole may be used to convince others why the hole is the most fun.

Early next year we will create the bracket based on the submissions and allow the public to vote on each matchup to ultimately determine the NoSweat Most Fun Golf Hole in Canada.
