New PGA Training Academy presented by Titleist and FootJoy Courses Available
Two new and exciting PGA Training Academy presented by Titleist and FootJoy courses are now available for PGA of Canada Members and Candidates for Membership.
‘Becoming a PGA Mentor’ and ‘History and Background of the PGA of Canada’ are both now available.
“We’re so very excited about the addition of these two new exciting PGA Training Academy presented by Titleist & FootJoy courses,” said the PGA of Canada’s Chief Innovation Officer. “The ‘Becoming a PGA Mentor’ course was very-much long overdue on a national scale, while the ‘History and Background’ course takes an in-depth look at the storied past of our amazing association.”
PGA of Canada Class “A” Members can complete the 60-90 minute Training Academy course to become a mentor for any Candidate for Membership working to achieve his or her Class “A” status. Conversely, Candidates for Membership will register for mentorship course in the stream best suiting his or her interest and career pathway (Teaching, Coaching, Golf Operations, or Management and Leadership).
Celebrate the more than 100-year history of the PGA of Canada with the ‘History and Background’ Training Academy course. Both Class “A” Members and Candidates for Membership can learn about the foundation of the association, the PGA’s place in the global golf industry and the evolution of golf in Canada.
