Introducing the NEW PGAofCanada.com

Introducing the NEW PGAofCanada.com

In an effort to make a more authentic, interactive and intuitive user experience, the association’s website has been completely re-imagined.

The change offers enhanced accessibility within a responsively-designed, mobile-friendly interface, which adapts to display in a manner tailored to your viewing device—be it your desktop, tablet or smartphone.

“With all the new initiatives and projects the PGA of Canada is taking on, it’s time our website better reflected our evolution as a modern, forward thinking association," said the PGA of Canada's President Mark Patterson.

The new pgaofcanada.com presents a new richly visual interface while maintaining many of the features from the previous website.

One goal of the redesign was to bring content and functions most often sought by both the PGA of Canada member and golf fans to the forefront. A detailed analysis of site metrics helped identify these items and guided the design decisions in developing the new interface.

“Providing a better visual and user experience for the PGA of Canada member and golf fan was of the utmost importance when designing our new website,” Allen said. “All of the content is much more accessible on mobile devices, the images and text are more pleasing to view and the website’s content has been mapped out to make it far easier to navigate.”

On the homepage, visitors will immediately take notice of the new interface which uses big, bold imagery in a tiled-news format. Scrolling down the website features numerous widgets—videos, live streams, photo galleries, top ten lists, social media posts, and more—to engage the user.

“We really feel this re-imagined pgaofcanada.com will allow us to not only better serve the PGA of Canada, but also to better market them in the modern digital age,” Allen said.

There’s an old adage that a website is never done and this rings true for the new pgaofcanada.com. While the look and feel will remain consistent, we will continue to review and revise as we stay up-to-date with the changing needs of the PGA of Canada member and golf fan alike.
