Coolbet Announced as National Partner of the PGA of Canada
Named Official Betting Partner of the RBC PGA Scramble
(Acton, ON) – The PGA of Canada is excited to announce that Coolbet has been named the official betting partner of the PGA of Canada and RBC PGA Scramble, the largest grassroots team golf event in the country with 12,000 amateur golfers playing annually.
Coolbet, the award-winning online sportsbook, casino, and poker operator, will offer exclusive promotions for members and program participants throughout the competition to elevate their experience. This includes the launch of two major contests featuring bucket-list grand prizes, available exclusively to PGA of Canada members and RBC Scramble participants. Additionally, Coolbet will provide exclusive odds for select PGA of Canada events for member contesting, including the highly anticipated 103rd PGA of Canada Championship.
The deal will also see Coolbet activate at various club events nationwide, along with local and regional RBC PGA Scramble qualifiers across Canada, including the National Final which is scheduled for October 4-8 at Cabot Cape Breton.
“It has been incredible to watch the consistent growth of the RBC PGA Scramble since its inception in 2015 and this partnership with Coolbet will further the experience even more for participants,” said Kevin Thistle, PGA of Canada CEO. “Coolbet’s commitment to transparency and responsible gaming was a big factor in our partnership in addition to their commitment to the game of golf through various partnerships they’ve supported.”
Coolbet has ingrained itself into the fibre of Canadian sports and has become a trusted leader for odds and transparency in the iGaming industry. Coolbet is dedicated to momentum and innovation, with a strong focus on product development and establishing new standards for responsible gaming.
Coolbet is honoured to partner with the PGA of Canada and its premier events,” said Andrew Aguanno, Partnerships Manager at Coolbet. “At Coolbet, we’re committed to using our resources to enhance the experience for members, from providing innovative odds for the PGA Championships to promoting responsible gambling education. We’re also excited to support PGA programming like the RBC Scramble, and we look forward to creating memorable opportunities together.”
In 2019, the RBC PGA Scramble was named the “Best New Canadian Golf Event of the Decade” by Rick Young of SCOREGolf.
