The Canadian PGA and Dream Shot Golf Announce Exciting Partnership
- Hole-in-one Qualifying Across the Country for 10 Million Dollar Shootout -
ACTON, ON (May 26, 2009) – The Canadian PGA is pleased to announce another exciting partnership in the formation of a two year agreement with Dream Shot Golf, an innovative course marketing system offered only through a network of select golf operators around the world.
Dream Shot Golf will select 35 golf courses led by Canadian PGA Professionals across Canada to become the exclusive carriers of the innovative Dream Shot hole-in-one program which aims to deliver a more exciting and engaging experience to golfers and host club tournament organizers.
“We are delighted to be working with the Canadian PGA.” said Chris Hood, Vice President of Business Development for Dream Shot Golf. “Our mission is to provide operators with new revenue streams and marketing programs that are fun and exciting for customers, we look forward to input from the Canadian PGA to help us give the maximum value to their members and clients,” added Hood.
The Canadian PGA course operator selects one of their par 3 holes of at least 150 yards. Dream Shot supplies all promotional material as well as a “Hole Concierge” who maintains the appearance of the tee box, greets the customer and explains the program. Participants pay a designated amount at the tee to participate in the hole-in-one experience and also receive an instant win card designed to drive traffic to the pro shop or food and beverage facilities. There are instant prizes and draws, "Hit the Green" prizes, "KP prizes", and of course the grand hole-in-one prize for a $10,000 package including an all expense paid trip to the $10 Million Shootout.
“The Dream Shot hole-in-one program will offer Canadian PGA Member operated facilities with an invaluable contemporary marketing program,” stated Lindon Garron, President of the Canadian PGA. “This initiative can only increase round volume and revenue streams for Canadian PGA Members and we are pleased to partner with such a proactive company.”
Working in conjunction with Dream Shot, a portion of the revenue of the hole-in-one program will be donated to Prostate Cancer Canada, the charity of choice of the Canadian PGA.
“This is a tremendous partnership for our company.” said Bob Silzer, Senior CEO of Dream Shot Golf. “With the expertise, experience, and leadership of the Canadian PGA Professional as marketing partners, it will add significantly to our program,” added Silzer.
Dream Shot Golf has operations throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.
