The PGA of Canada Foundation Bursary Program is to assist, encourage and promote the attainment of professional development and part time education opportunities to enhance the skills and abilities of PGA of Canada Members and Candidates for Membership.
“I feel extremely honoured to be a bursary recipient, said Ryan Robillard of Essex G&CC. “For myself, these funds really allow myself to continue to reinvest in my personal development as a professional.
A bursary award is contingent upon a Member or Candidate for Membership completing one or more professional development opportunities during the year. This bursary is only valid for the cost of registration/tuition of any one or more professional development opportunities during the calendar year.
“I believe this bursary gives members the opportunity to explore the educational opportunities available and delve a little deeper, enhancing their resume's with skills above and beyond they're competition,” said PGA of Canada member Mike Martz.
Applications are judged by a three-member independent panel and awarded based on academic achievement and contributions to the community.
