Teaching Professional: Golden Golf Club
The Golden Golf Club is a Small Town Club with Big Time Golf. As a semi-private Club with over 350 Members, we host around 28,000 rounds of golf each season. In addition to our award-winning golf course, we have full practice facilities, a 42-site RV Park, fully licensed Restaurant, and an 18-Hole Mini-Golf course. Our Club is focused on operational excellence, client experience, sustainability, and providing learning opportunities for our Team.
The Golden Golf Club is seeking a dedicated Teaching Professional to join our PGA of Canada Professional Team for the 2025 season and beyond. This position is available due to our current Teaching Professional moving on for family reasons after the 2024 season. Our current Teaching Professional has set a high standard, ensuring a smooth transition for the incoming Teaching Professional. Currently, we have four PGA of Canada Members on our Team.

- Job Summary
- The Teaching Professional is responsible for all golf instruction services at our Club. The successful candidate will have an extensive coaching background, be personable and professional, possess outstanding communication skills, and be focused on delivering an exceptional hospitality experience to our clients.
- Responsibilities
-
• Execute all golf instruction services.
• Develop, schedule, and execute individual lessons and group clinics for all clients.
• Co-ordinate High School Golf Team activities with the High School representative and Director of Operations.
• Develop, schedule, and execute Junior Development Program.
• Assist the Pro Shop Team in various capacities during the shoulder season.
• Stay current with trends and best practices within the golf industry.
• Assist Director of Operations as required and perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

- Compensation
- $30 per hour, commensurate with experience. 40-hour work week unless additional hours are required.
