Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Professional to join our team of PGA instructors. This unique role offers the successful candidate an opportunity to enhance their coaching skills and deepen their expertise in youth player development.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement long-term player development plans tailored to each student.
  • Provide personalized instruction and mentorship to students, guiding them and their parents in preparation for competitions.
  • Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm in all coaching activities.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
  • Maintain a professional, punctual, organized, and reliable presence.
  • Be prepared to travel as required (USA and other international destinations)
Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • PGA of Canada Membership in good standing.
  • Proven playing ability.
  • Previous experience in teaching and coaching, particularly with youth golfers.
  • Marketing and social media skills are preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with junior golf tours such as CJGA, MJT, US Kids, AJGA, and Provincial/National events.
  • Access to a vehicle.
  • Communication in Mandarin or Cantonese but not essential
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
Compensation
As an independent contractor operating under the Pacific Golf Academy umbrella, this position offers a unique opportunity for growth in coaching and player development. Compensation details, including the potential for high earnings, will be discussed during the interview process. The Academy supports its instructors through extensive promotion via social media and internal programs. The estimated compensation for first-year instructors is $55,000 or more.
