Job Summary

The team at Merry-Hill Golf Club is looking for a passionate golf professional to join us on our journey to grow the game of golf!

Focusing on junior and female golf, our successful candidate will lead both private and group lessons, be actively involved in junior golf development programs, and perform day-to-day operations at the golf club. Compensation is negotiable, you will have access to an existing client base, marketing support, and equipment.

This position is a 7-month contract, beginning April 2023 until the end of October 2023. You will be required to work a minimum of 35 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Teaching hours may be augmented with golf shop duties.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

taking an active role in generating lesson demand, golf coaching, player development, summer camp and junior golf programming, using professional judgment and expertise to recommend lesson content,
participating in marketing and promotional activities as requested,
actively participate in continuing education to enhance coaching skills,
perform day-to-day operations of the teaching facility,
golf leagues,
potential golf shop duties,
customer communication and service,
and any additional tasks requested by the Management Team

Qualifications

Qualifications required include:

professional teaching certification/designation in good standing,
exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills,
previous experience with teaching.

Compensation

Negotiable based on experience and availability.

Employment Duration
