Job Summary
The role requires a strong passion for helping others improve their golf game performance, providing well-rounded golf lesson programs, and delivering an exceptional customer service experience. A strong aptitude for technology and excellent, proficient time management skills will be required daily. The right candidate will need a growth mindset and a passion for professional development to succeed.
Responsibilities

Coaching & Teaching Duties: 

  • Deliver high quality customer interaction with professionalism.
  • Deliver golf lesson services: including private, semi private, junior instruction, and corporate coaching services.
  • Deliver professional coaching support both in person, and through digital coaching platforms.
  • Attend client tournaments, practice rounds, and coaching sessions as required.
  • Provide specialty coaching services: including playing lesson services, corporate, and short game instruction.
  • Support golf coaching programs with professional feedback, lesson content, and updates via coaching platforms.
  • Promote annual golf lesson programs, golf clinics, and corporate group classes.
  • Develop & participate in digital golf lesson program content creation.

Professional Development:

  • PGA of Canada training academy & certifications.
  • Golf technology certifications.
  • Education seminar attendance.
  • Professional tournament attendance.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate lesson service records, inventory, and appointment tracking.
  • Bi weekly administrative team meeting attendance.
  • Maintain efficient organizational skills daily.
  • Clean record keeping in an orderly and timely manner.

Qualifications
  • PGA of Canada Member in good standing, Class “A” Member preferred
  • PGA of Canada Instructor for Beginner (Completed)
  • PGA of Canada Instructor for Intermediate (Completion Preferred)
  • Those candidates that still need to complete “PGA of Canada Instructor for Intermediate Golfers Certification” will still be considered, please note in application if course certification is required.
  • 2+ Years Teaching & Coaching Experience
  • 2+ Years Sales Experience
  • TPI Certification Considered An Asset (Titleist Performance Institute)
  • PGA of Canada Club Fitting Certification Considered An Asset
  • Boditrak Certification Considered An Asset
  • Launch Monitor Certifications Considered An Asset (Foresight, Trackman, Flightscope)
Compensation
  • $3800-$4400 monthly, based on experience
  • Tournament allowance
  • Education allowance
  • Bonus structure, based on performance

  • As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for your own benefits, taxes, record keeping, and business expenses.
  • Support will be provided for the candidate to succeed with independent contractor requirements.
