Carman Creek is a 9-hole Executive Golf course, driving range within the city limits of New Brunswick’s Capital City, Fredericton, directly adjacent to the Ramada Hotel. Job Summary

We are looking for a golf professional that is in good standing with the PGA of Canada for the 2025 season and beyond. The individual could be an Apprentice or even a Class A but more importantly he/she must be self motivated, organized, creative, energetic and can work with customers of all ages, from 4 to 94. The individual will be expected to take over a very busy selection of well established, golf instructional programs, develop new programs and clinics and operate them efficiently with the highest level of professionalism and customer service. This is an incredible opportunity for a golf professional who wants to take control and run or learn to run a golf business and to be accountable for all educational operations of a customer service focused golf learning facility. You will have access to state-of-the-art Trackman radar technology, an impressive practice facility, and a well-established network of members & guests to support and grow the programming, coaching & instruction functions of the business. The successful candidate must have an interest in running leagues, corporate events and member tournaments as well as all aspects of scheduling staff and running a clubhouse. Compensation for this position will be very generous for the right individual that contributes to success.

Responsibilities

Oversee and maintain the highest standards in the following aspects of a golf instruction:
- Take over numerous well established successful golf programs
- Develop and operate golf clinics
- Provide golf instruction for all ages
- Administer a Junior Golf Program
- Integrate Trackman and other new technology into golf instruction programming
Assist in Marketing and Promotion of the Golf Club
Plan, coordinate, and execute golf leagues, corporate events, and member events.
Work with clients to understand event objectives, preferences, and budget.
Ensure smooth event operations, addressing any issues that arise quickly and professionally.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and members.
Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring that the golf course and facilities are presented in a polished manner.
Promote events through internal and external communication channels to increase participation and engagement.
Provide post-event evaluations, feedback, and recommendations for future events.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and solve problems quickly.
Schedule and manage clubhouse staff

Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal skills
Proven ability to provide excellence in customer service
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Strong leadership and promotional skills required to promote the entire facility and work with a customer service-oriented team.
Public golf course experience would be an asset.
Marketing and business experience would be an asset.
PGA of Canada in good standing for the 2025 season and beyond.
Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Experience with Trackman 4 (or any launch monitor technology) will be considered an asset
Experience with video swing analysis will be considered an asset

Compensation

Compensation will be dependent on qualifications and experience and the amount of responsibility
The hourly rate for working in the clubhouse will be $18 to $22 per hour
Commission will be paid on all golf instruction as high as 50%.
