We are currently seeking a dedicated Professional to work at Tam O’Shanter Golf Course, in the Greater Toronto Area. This course offers a traditional variety of holes (18 holes) and a new Performance Centre launching in 2025. We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn, committed to outstanding guest experiences and have experience in both fitting and instruction.

He or she will be a senior member of our Professional Staff and will be challenged in multiple facets of our operation. - Responsibilities

- Deliver reliably exceptional guest service
- Assist & oversee the daily operations of the Performance Centre
- Actively involved in Retail Operation (receiving, inventory, special orders and returns)
- Provide custom fittings
- Promote and manage all golf-related activities
- Assist in regular inventory checks for merchandise and merchandise display
- Comply with all laws regarding health, safety, and employment
- Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Club Fitting experience is a required
- Instruction experience is a required
- Membership in the PGA of Canada in good standing is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Understanding of course administration and operational practices and procedures
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project coordination and delegation of responsibilities
- Problem-solving capabilities for complex issues
- General knowledge of social media channels
- A knowledge of TEI POS is an asset but not required
- A knowledge of Trackman hardware and software is an asset but not required
Working Conditions:
- Physical activities include extended periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scooping
- Occasional lifting of up to 30lbs may be required
- Extended working hours during the golf and holiday season
- Weekend and holiday availability is essential
- Compensation
- Hourly wage between $23-$28 with additional compensation opportunities through lesson and fitting incentives
