Granite Ridge Golf Club is located on the beautiful Niagara Escarpment in Milton, ON. We are a 36-hole facility offering challenging layouts that can play up to 6500 yards. Designed by renowned Canadian golf course architects Rene Muylaert and Dick Kirkpatrick, Granite Ridge opened its doors to the public on July 1, 1996. The architects designed a user-friendly course with play ability and tournaments in mind. Quick undulating greens, menacing water hazards and most of all superior customer service await you and your invited guests.

Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organized self starter that will be responsible for driving sales of new and existing clients by consistently providing exceptional service to our guests. You’ll lead a small team that will be responsible for the smooth operations of all golf events and ensure they’re carried out in a professional manner.
Responsibilities

• Coordinate all event details from inquiry, contract, processing payments, finalizing event details and closing events

• Working with new and existing clients to identify their needs and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

• Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities

• Maintain meticulous client records to ensure there are no service failures for the events

• Meet with guests to discuss event details and give them a tour of the facility

• Understand the complex needs of different events and a diverse client base

• Coordinate rental needs for the tournaments (power carts, rental clubs, etc.)

• Liaises with Superintendent to ensure the course meets clients requirements (special flags, pin placements)

• Respond to incoming leads, answer inquiries and send quotes

• Identify and solicit new clients

• Build and maintain client database

• Maintain social media pages

• Proactively handle any emerging issues on or before the event day

• Conduct post event evaluations from our clients and seek ways to improve customer satisfaction

• Directly manage the coordination, set up, and execution of all golf events

• Manage tournament team (1-2 employees)

• Liaises with Pro Shop supervisor to ensure staffing requirements are met for events/tournaments

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a similar role or related experience

• Proficient Office 365 experience is essential (Excel, Work, Outlook, Power Point)

• Excellent time management skills

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects independently

• Excellent customer service skills

• Flexible work schedule is essential – early morning, afternoon, evenings, weekends and holidays (especially June & September)

• Knowledge of TeeOn would be an asset

• Comfortable speaking in front of large groups (100+ )

Compensation
$40,000 - $60,000 based on experience
