PGA TOUR Americas is an international tour that provides professional golfers with competitive opportunities and prepares them to advance their careers on the Korn Ferry Tour and PGA TOUR. The 2025 schedule consists of 16 events – six in Latin America held between March and May, and 10 in North America held between July and September. Mid-season Qualifying Schools take place in June. The season culminates in September with the Fortinet Cup Championship, where the top 10 players on the season-long Fortinet Cup points list will earn Korn Ferry Tour membership the following season.

Job Summary
This role is responsible for supporting PGA TOUR Americas operations in North America, driven by the execution of TOUR and Tournament operations objectives, including on-site functions such as management of TOUR infrastructure and signage, execution of TOUR brand standards, implementation of ShotLink scoring technology and coordination with Tournament volunteers. The Tournament Operations Manager is part of the PGA TOUR Americas Tournament Business and Sponsor Relations team, playing a critical role in supporting the TOUR and its Tournaments. This role provides a hands on introduction to many elements of golf tournament business and operations including exposure to tournament planning, inventory maintenance, coordination of logistics, and collaboration with Tournament Directors.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Tournament Operations lead in the planning and execution of TOUR and Tournament operations functions at assigned events in North America
  • Attend PGA TOUR Americas Qualifying Tournaments to support operations and competitions teams
  • Transportation of TOUR infrastructure to events across Canada utilizing TOUR-issued truck and trailer, including safety and maintenance of transportation vehicles and equipment, and recording of a travel log
  • Prepare operations trailers prior to the season, including inventory management, cleaning and loading infrastructure and equipment
  • Maintain TOUR infrastructure and signage to ensure proper storage and transportation
  • Maintain accurate inventory of infrastructure and signage items on a weekly basis
  • Manage the execution of the TOUR and Tournament operations plan
  • Manage and oversee the set-up and tear-down of TOUR infrastructure and oversight of Tournament infrastructure according to PGA TOUR Americas brand standards
  • Supervise and lead a team of tournament volunteers during Advance Week and Tournament Week to maintain operations functions, including on-site presentation elements, marshals, spotter, ecology, water, transportation, caddies etc.
  • Lead execution of ShotLink scoring technology during tournaments, including testing and training
  • Support PGA TOUR Americas Player Relations with the execution of Sponsor Value Program and player engagement initiatives (sponsor clinics, secondary pro-am)
  • Execute Honourary Observer program on-site
  • Oversee Player Wellness area and ensure equipment is charge and properly staged
  • Support PGA TOUR Americas competitions team, including collaboration with Advance Rules Official during Advance Week and Tournament Week. Player scoring as required.
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • College or University graduate with a degree in Sports Management, Event Management, Golf Management, Business Administration or another relevant field of study is preferred
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Fosters teamwork and cooperation
  • Intimate understanding of golf etiquette
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Eligible to travel within Canada and cross-board to the United States
  • Valid driver’s license. Restricted A license is required (training and certification provided)
  • Manual labour and moderate lifting (50 to 80 lbs) on a regular basis
Compensation
$1600 CDN Per Pay Period (15 Days)
