- Job Summary
- Sunnybrae Golf Club is seeking a dynamic and experienced Golf Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pro shop and ensure the smooth functioning of all golf-related activities. This role is a hybrid of in-office and on-desk responsibilities and requires a highly organized individual with excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Responsibilities

- Pro Shop Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pro shop, ensuring a high standard of customer service and efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of assistant pro-shop clerks, back shop staff, and marshals, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
- Leagues, Memberships, and Tournaments: Manage and coordinate all aspects of golf leagues, memberships, and tournaments, ensuring a seamless experience for participants.
- Inventory and Sales Management: Oversee pro shop inventory, including ordering, stocking, and sales. Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets.
- Night Reports: Prepare and review nightly reports to track sales, inventory levels, and operational issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with club owners, food and beverage managers, greens keepers, and the marketing team to ensure cohesive operations and promote club activities.
- Online Purchasing and Bookings: Manage online purchasing platforms such as GolfNow and Tee-On, ensuring accurate and efficient booking processes.
- Customer Relations: Maintain excellent relationships with members and guests, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
- Marketing Coordination: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the club, events, and special offers.

- Proven experience in golf operations management or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in managing pro shop inventory and sales.
- Experience with online booking systems (GolfGenius, Tee-On) is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different departments and teams.
- Compensation
- $60,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
