Willow Park Golf Club is looking for a Back Shop Supervisor to join our team. Reporting to the Head Golf Professional, this important position is responsible for the club storage area, cart fleet maintenance, being the face of the outside services department, and displaying impeccable standards of customer service.
The Back Shop Supervisor must also set a stellar example of execution of key Back Shop duties, including the care and storage of the membership’s golfing materials, such as bags and clubs, training and supporting fellow employees, and regular maintenance of the golf practice areas.

• Able to help with odd jobs around the Back Shop.
• Have some supervisory or other leadership experience Train new hires to the Back Shop team.
• Coordinate storage and charging of members’ power carts.
• Receive member feedback and liaise with the Professional staff for solutions.
• Assisting members and guests on and off the course.
• Issuing, accounting for, cleaning and storing members’ golf equipment.
• Setting up and maintaining practice facilities.
• Picking up and cleaning range balls.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Back Shop.
• Power Cart Fleet maintenance.
• Daily garbage and recycling run.
• Maintaining supplies of golf accessories.
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Professional
- Qualifications
-
• One year of participation in the game of golf on a recreational basis an asset.
• Effective interpersonal and public speaking skills.
• Effective organizational skill.
• Must be 16 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Essential Physical Requirements: Able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to drive a golf cart. Able to work outdoors in inclement and widely changing weather conditions. Able to perform various activities such as constant standing, walking, frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting.

- Wage Range $17-$20 per hour

The position is a full-time seasonal position (40 hours per week).
From April to end of Oct, depending on length of the season.
