Job Title: Assistant Tournament Coordinator

Kaneff Golf’s Flagship Golf Course, Lionhead Golf Club & Conference Centre, consists of 2 Championship Golf Courses: Legends and Masters. Carved into 520 acres of inspired natural terrain with meadows, wetlands, forest, and the Credit River running through it.

We’re currently seeking an Assistant Tournament Coordinator. This role is a key member of the golf operations team and assists the Tournament Coordinator in organizing and executing our corporate events.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Tournament Coordinator to join our golf operations team. This position plays a key role in supporting the Tournament Coordinator with organizing and executing corporate and tournament events at our flagship golf course, Lionhead Golf Club & Conference Centre. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for golf, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team to ensure exceptional events.
Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee smooth execution of assigned events
  • Work collaboratively with Food and Beverage and Proshop to fulfill our customers needs/requests
  • Coordinate and assists with specific course set up and tear down
  • Some manual labour and moderate lifting (up to 80 lbs)
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction by addressing customer concerns
  • Providing administrative support to the Tournament Coordinator as needed
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Possesses or working towards a post-secondary degree or college diploma with a specialty in Professional Golf Management (PGM) or Business/Hospitality
  • Knowledge of Chronogolf/Lightspeed POS and Golf Genius is an asset
  • Ability to work closely within a team environment possessing strong interpersonal skills Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Superior communication skills with an ability to effectively multitask and comfortable with public speaking
  • Proven excellence in organization skills
  • A valid drivers licence of class G2 or G
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work mornings/evenings as well as weekends through the season.
Compensation
$17.20/Hour
