The Nanton Golf Club is an 18-hole semi-private golf facility located just 45 minutes south of Calgary. In addition to the golf course, we also have an expansive practice facility and a new 3- hole junior golf course.
The club has over 350 members, is open for public play and is host to a wide variety of tournaments each year for an annual total of over 30, 000 rounds. We have experienced extensive growth over the past few years and are looking to continue this trend. This past winter the board of directors along with the management team created a strategic plan for the golf course with the goal of expansion and continued growth of the club at all levels.

The Nanton Golf club is seeking the services of a Head Professional for the 2023 season and beyond. We are looking for an individual that is passionate about the golf industry, selfmotivated, personable, energetic and will be able to grow with the club for years to come.
The Head Golf Professional is in charge of the daily operation of the Golf department, consisting of the Proshop and Outside Services. As a member of the senior management team, they are expected to present a positive, professional image of the Nanton Golf Club to all members and guests at all times. The Head Golf Professional is responsible for taking a lead role in ensuring that the members and guests at the Nanton Golf Club receive exceptional customer service at all times.
- Responsibilities

● Take a leadership role in the golf shop, serving members and guests
● Inventory control, merchandising and sales
● Organize and manage leagues and tournaments
● Develop and grow a successful junior program
● Take a lead role in managing the outside services staff
● Provide golf lessons and clinics to members and guests
● Engage with members

● Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills

● Club fitting and club repair knowledge and experience
● Excellent time management and organizational skills with a high attention to detail

● Ability to train and supervise employees

- Compensation

● Salary range: $45,000 to $57,000 Depending on qualifications and experience
o 100% of lesson revenue
o Performance Bonus ● Potential Benefits Include: Health & Dental Benefits, Staff meal program, Tournament allowance, Professional development allowance, Clothing allowance and PGA of Canada dues.
