Job Summary

Northern Bear Golf Course is currently seeking the services of a Head Professional. This position will report directly to the Director of Golf and oversee the daily golf operations at the club

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the Golf Shop, Member Services and Golf Operations

• Maintain and promote a well-respected and professional image within the Club and community

• Hire, train and lead Golf Shop and Member Services staff

• Accountable for the annual golf operations and all related monthly reporting

• Ability to organize, schedule and manage all tournaments and golf events

• Ability to implement, enforce and maintain all Club policies

• Implement a successful junior program

• Assist in leagues and maintaining a strong relationship with players

Qualifications

• Class A member of the PGA of Canada

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Proficient computer skills (POS systems specifically Tee-On, MS Office, Excel)

• Proven ability to work in a team environment

• Leadership desire and capability

• Strong inventory management, merchandising and marketing skills

• Customer service driven attitude

Compensation

• The compensation package will be determined based on experience of the successful applicant.

• Salary range $70,000 to $80,000 The position will start the 1st of March 2024
