- Job Summary
- Huron Oaks Golf Club is seeking an organized, service-driven, and passionate Head Golf Professional to lead our golf operations. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the golf program, including daily operations, events, and member relations. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and delivering exceptional service to our members and guests.
- Responsibilities

- Golf Operations Management: Oversee the daily management of golf operations, including tee time scheduling, practice areas (including the driving range), and coordination with the grounds staff to ensure a seamless golfing experience.
- Indoor Golf Centre Management: Promote and manage the use of the indoor golf centre during the winter season, including scheduling, events, and member engagement in our nine range hitting bays and two About Golf simulators.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage golf staff, including Assistant Professionals and Pro Shop staff, cart attendants, Marshalls etc. Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment.
- Member and Guest Engagement: Provide high-level service to members and guests, addressing their needs and ensuring a positive experience on and off the course.
- Event Management: Plan and execute tournaments, outings, and special events, ensuring all events are well-organized and enjoyable for participants.
- Pro Shop Operations: Manage the Pro Shop, including inventory control, merchandising, and sales.
- Technology Utilization: Proficiency in the Tee-On system (POS and online) and Golf Genius is highly desirable, as these are key systems in use at the club.
- Budget Management: Assist in preparing and managing the golf operations budget, controlling expenses while driving revenue growth.
- Qualifications

- Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role at a golf club, preferably as a Head Golf Professional or Associate Golf Professional. Experience managing staff and golf operations is essential.
- Certification: PGA of Canada Class "A" designation or equivalent is preferred. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.
- Customer Service: A passion for delivering exceptional service to members and guests.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Technology: Familiarity with Tee-On (POS and online booking) and Golf Genius is a strong asset.
- Leadership: Proven leadership and team management abilities.

- Competitive salary based on experience (to be determined during the interview process). Salary range $60,000 to $85,000
