Cabot Links Head Golf Professional :
We are seeking a PGA Head Professional to lead the golf operation team at Cabot Links. This Head Professional will work closely with our Director of Golf and our Cabot Cliffs Head Professional, while leading the Cabot Links Golf Operations and Links Golf Administrative functions. The successful candidate will also work closely with Cabot’s Caddie Yard (300 caddies) and Retail Team.

Transformative & Agile Leader
- Inspire our world-class team, including Cabot Links Golf Operations, and caddies to perform to the highest standard.
- Coordinate the recruitment, hiring, retention, scheduling and fiscal management of the Cabot Links Golf Operations team members.
- Coordinate with the Caddie Master, Golf Services Supervisors, and caddie yard to ensure excellence in caddie services to Cabot guests is provided, including but not limited to; communicating to Caddies any changes/cancellations to tee times.
- Support the Retail Manager and Golf Shop Supervisor by answering guest inquiries, selling retail product, utilizing the POS system to complete the transaction, as required.
- Collaborate with the entire resort team to ensure effective communication is in place.
- Demonstrate leadership excellence using the skills of asking questions, active listening and providing ongoing feedback.

- Build strong relationships with our Leadership Team, General Manager, Director of Golf, fellow Golf Professionals, Director of Agronomy and Superintendents, to complete all activities, interests, and requests.
- Grow, develop and inspire the Cabot team members as their leader
- Coordinate and oversee golf personnel activities while providing the framework to guide team members in their personal/professional development plans and the positive work culture Cabot delivers.
- Assist guests with special on-course inquiries/concerns/complaints promptly.
- Assist guests with information on resort amenities, community and surrounding areas, and directions.
- Focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.
Operational Excellence
- Lead the team that provides excellence in service through effective training and implementation of golf operations standard operating procedures.
- Achieve financial targets at Cabot Links relative to all golf related services rendered while providing the highest standard service levels within the allocated budget.
- Work closely with the Director of Golf and Cabot Cliffs Head Golf Professional to develop and implement organizational efficiencies for the Golf ops teams.
- Implement Cabot policies, including operating procedures, Human Resources, Health and Safety, and other policies relevant to the Golf operations.
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day golf operations at Cabot Links, including all pre, on-course and post-round guest experience, while ensuring a world-class guest experience is achieved.
- Manage the golf operations systems efficiently and operate best-in-class practice facilities, golf academy programs, club storage, rental club and cart fleet management.
- Understand, be operationally literate and manage all software systems associated with running the golf operations, retail and procurement.
- Work flexible hours as required, including early mornings, nights/weekends.
- Qualifications

- Minimum of two years with a Class “A” Golf Professional status within the PGA of Canada.
- Demonstrated experience and competency in Golf Operations and Retail Management.
- Demonstrated experience and competency in Teaching and Instruction.
