Dalewood Golf Club is a semi-private year round facility offering the amenities of a prestigious urban club, located in Northumberland County. Dalewood was designed by renowned golf course architect Robbie Robinson and opened in 1974. Dalewood features a par 71 championship course with tee selections that offer a wide variety of playing yardages. The golf course offers great conditions and the natural hazards make it a very challenging game of golf.
Dalewood also boasts the most scenic banquet facility in the area; the Great Hall can accommodate up to 175 people and is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows offering splendid views of the golf course and countryside. The facility also offers a full service restaurant, bar, and barbecue patio area available to the public, members, and guests alike.

- As the Head Golf Professional, you will report directly to the Director of Golf & Operations. The successful candidate will play an integral role in providing members and guest with exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate must be personable, professional, and have passion for the game of golf. This position is ideal for an Associate or Class A Professional who is looking for an opportunity to take the next step in their professional development.
- Responsibilities

- Manage the day to day Golf Shop operations, which include taking tee time reservations, point of sale transactions, and merchandise sales
- Provide a high level of customer service to members and guests on a daily basis
- Organize and execute golf events
- Provide golf instruction and clinics
- Lead in the training and supervision of Pro Shop and Back Shop operations
- Ensure staff follow all club policies and procedures
- Enforce golf and club policies, rules and regulations
- Play a supportive role with other departments
- Club fitting and club repairs
- Oversee retail operations, including managing accurate monthly inventories, sales promotions, reporting, buying, corporate business and demo program
- Ensure the golf shop is organized, tidy, and presentable on a daily basis
- Perform other duties and tasks as requested
- Qualifications

- Class A PGA of Canada Member in good standing
- Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail
- Dependable, reliable team player
- Experience with Chronogolf/Lightspeed is an asset
- Strong desire to grow as a professional
- Passion for the game of golf
- Compensation

- $1050 -$1250/week commensurate with experience
