Job Summary

Candidates must have strong collaboration skills, be constant learners, lead with positivity, and enjoy working with a team whose purpose is to enrich lives and inspire connection.   Reporting to the General Manager and joining our passionate leadership team, this year-round role is well supported and collaborates consistently with our passionate events, restaurant, and grounds teams to deliver a world-class golf experience.
Responsibilities
  • Inspire the golf operations team including instructors, outside services, and the golf shop to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional Guest experiences.
  • Recruit, train, lead, inspire and manage performance for the golf operations team, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Maximize revenue through effective tee sheet management, reputation management, budgeting, cost controls, and sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee tournaments, events, and all golf-related activities, ensuring high-quality execution.
  • Engage with Guests and promote the golf course within the community by representing its purpose, mission and core values.
  • Manage the golf shop, golf academy, cart fleet, and related operations to maintain a polished, high-quality experience for our Guests.
  • Ensure point of sale/online booking system is optimized for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications
  • Previous leadership experience in golf operations, with a strong understanding of the industry, tee sheet management, and leadership excellence.
  • PGA member, in good standing.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and build relationships with Members, Guests and Team Members.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teaching abilities and previous responsibilities overseeing a golf academy are an asset.
  • Knowledgeable in modern teaching methodologies and the use of technological aids to enhance instruction.

Compensation
  • Annual base salary $80,000 to $95,000
  • Performance bonus
