We are seeking a self-motivated and driven Associate & Assistant Professionals to join our staff for the 2025 golf season and beyond. Port Carling Golf Club offers a fantastic opportunity for a new and/or upcoming professional to gain experience across all aspects of an outstanding private golf club operation.
Professionals will provide the members and guests of Port Carling Golf Club with world-class service in an organized and professional manner creating a relaxed yet unforgettable experience.
The successful candidates will be supported in the development of their professional career on and off the golf course. You will report to the and Head Golf Professional and General Manager.
- Responsibilities
-
Reporting to the Head Professional and General Manager the Assistant/Associate Professional will primarily be responsible for:
- Provide the highest level of customer service on an on-going basis in a professional and friendly manner
- Lead by example and be a team player at all times
- Communicate with colleagues, members and guests
- Learn, understand and operate, Jonas, Golf Genius and Trackman
- Merchandising of apparel, equipment, and related products
- Conducting private lessons, and Member Clinics
- Actively participating in member play while maintaining a high level of playing standards
- Supervising/assisting in the daily operation of the Pro Shop, Back Shop, and on- course services
- Serve the needs of the members and guests in accordance with the operational and health & safety policies and procedures outlined in the Port Carling Golf Club Employee Handbook, Policies and Procedures booklet and your detailed job description
- Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications Include:
- Apprentice or Class “A” PGA of Canada professional in good standing
- Bring minimum 1-3 years of experience
- Knowledge of Jonas, Golf Genius, and Trackman
- Knowledge of club fitting, repair and equipment
- Merchandise & Retail experience
- Private lesson and instruction experience
- Post-Secondary Education
