Job Summary
The Vancouver Golf Club is excited to share a unique and rewarding career opportunity of Associate Golf Professional to join our pro team for the 2025 golf season and beyond! If you're eager to take the next step in your career, work alongside top professionals, and make a real impact in a thriving private club environment, this opportunity is for you.
Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to members and guests, creating an engaging and welcoming golf experience.
  • Lead and support the golf operations team, including golf shop, backshop staff, and starters.
  • Play and engage with VGC members while continuously developing your own game.
  • Oversee and enhance the Women’s Program, ensuring high-quality experiences for all participants.
  • Assist in managing retail operations, inventory, and golf shop services.
  • Play a key role in tee sheet management, daily play, and service standards.
  • Support men’s and junior event programming, as well as member leagues and junior development initiatives.
  • Provide high-quality golf instruction using modern technologies and innovative teaching methods.
  • Assist with club fitting and basic club repairs to support player performance.
Qualifications
  • Successful candidates must be a PGA of Canada member in good standing.
  • Member-focused mindset with a solid understanding of the private membership golf club environment.
  • Previous experience at a high-end private facility where excellence is an expectation.
  • Strong member-service skills with the ability to supervise our golf operations staff.
  • Successful candidates are tech-savvy with a knack for keeping up-to-date with the latest technology trends.

 

  • *Bonus* Knowledge of the following software/platforms would be considered a definite asset:
    • JONAS (point of sales system)
    • Club Unity Tee Sheet Software
    • Golf Genius Tournament software
    • Trackman Launch Monitor Radar
Compensation
$60,000–$90,000+ (Salary + Lesson Revenue)
