The Goderich Sunset Golf Club is a 27 hole course that has been proudly serving its customers for more than 45 years just steps from the shores of Lake Huron. Featuring numerous strategically placed sand traps and narrow tree-lined fairways, Sunset Golf Club was designed to test players of all skill levels.
Water comes into play on 13 holes further adding to the challenge. In addition to the well-conditioned golf course, it is the friendly service that makes Sunset a pleasant golf outing to all.
The Executive par 3 course is where you can practice every club in your bag! This course is great for:

- Job Summary
- We are looking for an energetic, dedicated, passionate individual to join our professional team as the Associate Golf Professional. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of the game of golf, be skilled in customer service and strive to create an exceptional experience for members and guests on a day-to-day basis.
- Responsibilities

- Providing and delivering exceptional Member Services.
- Spread hospitality and goodwill amongst all Members and Guests.
- Co-ordinate and/or assist in all Member events, leagues & corporate events.
- Inspire a love of golf in our future generation of golfers.
- Co-ordinate and execute summer Junior Camps.
- Responsible for assisting in daily Pro Shop tasks.
- Play golf with Members weekly.
- Assisting Members and Guests with merchandise selection.
- Able to provide excellent product knowledge.
- Assisting Pro Shop Team with scheduling.
- Make connections in the community by being an ambassador for the golf course.
- Qualifications

- PGA member in good standing or PGM Program enrollment.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- A desire to grow as a Golf Professional.
- A desire to teach and improve instructional skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Positive and outgoing personality.
- Committed to working in a team environment.
- Patience, understanding and flexibility when working with youth.
- Retail sales experience is an asset.
- Golf Genius knowledge and experience is an asset.
- Familiarity of basic computer programs is an asset.
- Knowledgeable and responsible in use of social media platforms is an asset.
- Ability to repair grips an asset.
- Compensation
- $20 - $25 per hour
