Apprentice/Associate Golf Professional: Pinebrook Golf & Country Club

Pinebrook Golf & Country Club is a member-owned equity private club offering a championship 18-hole golf course with beautiful playing conditions, great practice facilities, and two simulators utilized throughout the winter season. Spectacular mountain views along with manicured grounds highlight this golf course, which is situated approximately 25 minutes to the west of downtown Calgary.
 

Pinebrook is looking to add a personable, highly motivated PGA Golf Professional to our team. We are committed to providing a superior member experience and, as such, are looking for candidates who will match this expectation.

Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be dedicated to the golf industry with a drive to provide the highest level of customer service to our members and their guests. The successful applicant will report directly to the Head Professional and will be an integral part of the golf operations team.
Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to Day Pro Shop Operations
  • Assist with the planning and execution of all Club tournaments and events
  • Coordination and execution of successful Member leagues
  • Training, coaching and supervision of seasonal staff
  • Member engagement via teaching and playing
  • Club fitting and club repair
  • Golf instruction for all skill levels
  • Supervision and management of Pace of Play utilizing Tagmarshal technology.
Qualifications

  • Must have a passion for going above and beyond a regular level of service to exceed member expectations at every opportunity
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and leadership skills bringing a professional attitude with positive energy to work everyday
  • Maintaining a well respected and professional image within the club, the industry and the community
  • Efficient and effective time management while being self-motivated in accomplishing tasks
  • Strong attention to detail whilst handling a wide variety of tasks
  • Knowledge of Golf Genius tournament software is an asset
  • Knowledge of Trackman and GC Quad Technology is an asset
  • Private Club experience is an asset.
Compensation

Pinebrook Golf and Country Club offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with the experience of the selected candidate.

Monthly Salary: $4,000
