- Vancouver Golf Club is excited to share a unique and rewarding opportunity for an Outside Services Manager/Golf Professional to join the Vancouver Golf Club professional staff in 2025! A great opportunity for you if you have Director of Golf or Head Professional aspirations as you will gain direct leadership experience in this role overseeing a team.
- Responsibilities

This position reports to the Director of Golf and works alongside the Associate and Assistant Professionals.
- Hire, Lead, Supervise and ensure accountability for all Outside Service Team members with support from the Director of Golf.
- Responsible for the scheduling and bi-weekly payroll of all outside service team members.
- Drives a culture of prioritizing the member and guest experience while ensuring all team members are held accountable to our high service standards.
- Implement and execute an annual standard operations procedure manual as well as daily checklists to ensure team members understand goals and daily duties.
- Oversee a backshop of 850 member bags, cart shed of 40 power carts and 80 member electric carts, and a full-length grass tee range and short game area.
- Ensures the organization and cleanliness of all outside services areas on a daily basis.
- Handling complaints and member concerns in a diplomatic and engaged manner while being responsive to all requests on a daily basis.
- The Outside Services Manager will have daily duties in the pro shop, back shop, driving range and 1st tee depending on the day and time of year. The successful candidate will also have the ability to teach lessons at the club on a daily basis.
- Qualifications

- Successful candidates must be a PGA of Canada member in good standing.
- Experience in a pro shop or back shop is an asset.
- Experience supervising a team is an asset.
- An engaged leader who is driven to offer a high level of member service on a daily basis at the club and take ownership of the leadership of their team on a daily basis.
- Charismatic, passionate, enthusiastic, and engaging with people.
- Experience with the below software systems is an asset:
- JONAS (point of sales system)
- Microsoft word and excel
- Trackman Launch Monitor Radar
- Compensation
- Annual salary of between $50,000-$56,000 + 100% of earned Lesson Revenue ($10,000-$25,000+ for a motivated candidate).
