The Briars Golf Club is a Stanley Thompson/Robbie Robinson collaboration established in 1922.
Only an hour from downtown Toronto and host of the 2013 Canadian Senior Men’s & 2016 Ontario Ladies Senior/Mid Am Championships, our classic, traditional course features small, lush greens and narrow fairways surrounded by towering mature trees.

- We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic individual who has a passion for the game of golf and is looking to grow their career within our team for the 2025 season.
- Responsibilities
-
- Daily operations: opening & closing procedures, Proshop organization and cleanliness, managing the tee-sheet, managing outside operations staffing levels and effectiveness, staging area cleanliness, driving range cleanliness, monitoring pace of play, and utilizing JONAS for all retail and golf-course related transactions.
- Retail operations: assisting the Head Professional in the display, inventory control, promotion, and sales of merchandise. Also includes inventory management of rental and demo clubs/sets.
- Events: assisting in the execution of Men’s & Ladies’ leagues as well as internal and external tournaments.
- Instruction: providing private/group lessons and managing/headlining the club’s very successful junior golf programs and camps.
- Qualifications

- Private club experience is an asset but not required.
- JONAS experience (POS and Tee Time Management) is an asset.
- Experienced with Windows-based applications (ie: Microsoft Office & Golf Genius Software)
- Compensation

$800 - $975 per week, commensurate with experience\
