Rivershore is looking for a motivated Professional to assist the Head Professional with day to day operations and management of the golf course, pro shop, driving range and power cart fleet.
The ability to take a leadership role and create a positive and team orientated work environment. Full time shop hours are guaranteed during shoulder seasons and can be reduced during peak season months to make time for the high demand on lessons and fittings. Possibility for year round employment.
- Responsibilities
-
• Assist in training, managing and motivating of pro shop staff
• Check in and assist members and public guests
• Manage the first tee and monitor on course conditions, pace of play, player conduct, etc.
• Merchandise, promote and sell pro shop product
• Special order and inventory management
• Manage presentation and maintenance of power cart fleet
• Manage presentation and maintenance of driving range
• Assist in planning, organization and execution of course events, tournaments, leagues and scoring
• Instruct golf lessons and clinics to members and public
• Provide club fitting to members and public
- Qualifications
-
• PGA of Canada Class A or Apprentice in good standing
• Teaching and club fitting experience
• Prior golf service and retail experience
• Proficiency with computer software (Tee-On, Golf Genius) and word, excel, publisher
• Excellent work ethic and ability to take initiative
• Positive attitude and professional manner and appearance
• Display leadership and team building skills
- Compensation

• $21-$25 per hour based on experience
• Guaranteed 9 month employment (possible 12 month employment)
• 90% of Teaching Revenue
