Job Summary

Are you a PGA of Canada Professional that is personable, keen, and passionate to learn and continue to grow by further engaging in multiple aspects of the golf business? The Derrick Club is looking for an Assistant/Associate Golf Professional for 2024 and beyond.

Responsibilities

This is an excellent year-round opportunity for a current or aspiring Professional to join, complement, and share their experiences with our dedicated Derrick Club Team and supportive Membership.

This includes instructional programs for all ages, retail merchandising and management, equipment fitting, assisting with the day-to day management of play and a variety of events, and contributing to various means of Club communication

Qualifications

Experience with software programs such as Jonas, Golf Genius, Trackman, and/or Club Unity considered an asset.

Compensation

Salary and Benefits include:

• Year-round position.

• Monthly starting salary: $3200-$3500.

• In addition, participation in our annual Assistant Professional Challenge (season ending member bonus program).

• Opportunity for further earnings within work week via junior golf programs and adult classes/clinics.

• Flexible schedule for assisting with our increasing demand of adult & junior private and semi-private lessons.

• Clothing, equipment, and PGA of Alberta/Canada education/tournament/event allowance.

• 2024 PGA of Canada dues re-imbursement.

• Monthly meal subsidy and 50% off meals served at the Derrick Club while on shift.

• Use of multiple Derrick Club recreational facilities and locker rooms as available.
