Job Summary
Step into an exhilarating role as an Assistant/Associate Professional! In this position, you'll deliver first-class service to our valued members and guests while leading and training a passionate staff. You'll be deeply involved in exciting tournament operations and play a key role in club fitting and repairs, ensuring every golfer has the perfect equipment. As the champion of our Junior Development Program, you'll inspire the next generation of golfers and promote the joy of the game. If you're an enthusiastic golfer ready to make a positive impact in our vibrant community, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be actively involved in the Professional Team. He/she will report directly to the Head Golf Professional and will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Providing first class service to members and guests
  • Supervising and training member services staff
  • Involvement with Tournament Operations
  • Club Fitting and club repairs
  • Placing special orders resulting from Demo and Fitting Days
  • Junior Development (Spearheading the Junior Program)
  •  Actively playing and promoting Golf
Qualifications
  • PGA of Canada member in good standing
  • Post-secondary degree or college diploma with a golf management discipline (or working towards)
  • Proven excellence in member services, sales, and organizational skills.
  • Positive, professional attitude and a team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Club Fitting and equipment knowledge.
  • Knowledge of JONAS point of sales system is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Golf Genius Tournament software is an asset.
  • Tournament operations experience.
  •  Ability to work a varied schedule.
  • Ability to teach players of all skill levels.
  • Previous experience in a busy semi-private / private golf industry setting is considered a strong asset.
Compensation
  •  $20 - $22 per hour depending on experience (overtime paid at time and half)
  • April to September 5 hrs. per week (play, practice or teaching on shift time)
  • 100% Lesson Revenue (Great opportunity to grow your portfolio)
