- The ideal candidate will be dedicated to the golf industry with a drive to provide the highest level of customer service to our members and their guests. The successful applicant will report directly to the Director of Golf and will be an integral part of the golf operations team.
- Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be actively involved in the Professional Team. He/she will report directly to the Director of Golf and will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Providing first-class service to members and guests – Ensuring an exceptional experience for all golfers.
- Delivering quality private golf instruction to the membership – Offering personalized lessons to improve the skills of the members.
- Junior Development – Assisting our Head Teaching Professional with our Junior Program – Supporting the development and growth of junior golfers.
- Enthusiastically delivering all standard Pro Shop responsibilities – Handling day-to-day operations, customer service, and ensuring smooth Pro Shop operations.
- Retail sales of pro shop merchandise, including assisting with the merchandising of inventory and maintaining the overall upkeep of the Pro Shop area – Managing sales and inventory, ensuring the Pro Shop is well-stocked and organized.
- Actively playing and promoting golf – Participating in and promoting golf-related events, encouraging membership and engagement.
- Maintaining a positive working relationship within a team atmosphere – Working collaboratively with other staff to provide the best experience for members and guests.
- Responsible for opening and closing the Pro Shop – Ensuring the Pro Shop is ready for operations at the start of the day and properly secured at the end of the day.
- Monitoring the pace of play in cooperation with the outside services team – Ensuring a smooth flow of play and timely rounds for all golfers.
- Managing the outside services team area while on shift – Supervising the outside services team, ensuring they are providing excellent customer service and maintaining the course.
- Qualifications

- PGA Member in good standing
- Passion to excel in the golf industry – A strong commitment to personal growth and success within the golfing profession.
- Desire to be part of a professional staff – Aiming to deliver excellence in service across all areas of the golf operation.
- Ability to work with a team of professionals – Collaborating with staff to achieve sales, service goals, and objectives.
- Strong interpersonal skills – The ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with members, guests, and staff.
- Keen interest in golf instruction and professional development – A passion for teaching and improving skills, along with a desire to further develop as a golf professional.
- Experience in leading and/or assisting junior programs – Ability to help organize and implement junior golf programs, including camps, clinics, and lessons.
- Proficiency in Lightspeed Golf/Retail – Experience with Lightspeed Golf or similar point-of-sale and retail management systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Golf Genius tournament software – Familiarity with Golf Genius or similar tournament software is an asset for managing and organizing golf events.
- Compensation
- $750-$850 a week depending on experience
