The Edmonton Petroleum Golf & Country Club is the golfer’s golf club. Completed in 1993 by PGA Professional Mark McCumber, this Par 72 championship golf course is walkable, scenic, and private. The golf course boasts immaculate contoured greens protected by ponds and strategically placed bunkers throughout its 7000+ yard routing. And although the course offers a variety of challenges, its layout welcomes golfers of every level. Members enjoy the company of friends and family in the elegantly appointed lounge and dining room within the clubhouse. The patio is a great place to unwind post-round and watch the final golfers chase that evening sunup the 18th fairway.

- Reporting to the Head Golf Professional, the Assistant/Associate Professional will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional and consistent experience within the Golf Operation. The successful candidate will be personable, professional, possess strong communication skills, and will be member centric with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Responsibilities

- Present the highest level of professionalism for both members and employees alike.
- Be proficient in all day-to-day Golf Operation duties.
- Hold themselves and fellow team members accountable to the standards of the Petroleum Club.
- Skillfully support and enforce club policy.
- Product Merchandising and Sales.
- Club Repair.
- Club Fitting.
- Instruction/Coaching (private, group, corporate & junior).
- Devote time to improving their own game and playing with members of all levels.
- Qualifications

- Member in good standing with the PGA of Canada.
- Ability to excel in a team environment.
- Appetite for personal development and growth.
- Committed to the highest level of customer service.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and willing to accept responsibility.
- Strong desire for Club Fitting and Coaching.
- Experience with Jonas, Golf Genius and Trackman is an asset.
- Compensation
- Salary: $3600 - $4000 per month (Potential for part-time winter employment)
