- Responsibilities

- Use professional judgment and expertise to recommend teaching and learning content and create custom lesson plans for students of varying skill levels.
- Teach most of the lessons inclusive of private, group, junior, etc. throughout the season and on a scheduled basis ensuring peak periods are covered.
- Recommend appropriate services for each student, including playing lessons, short game lessons, putting instruction and other services.
- Take an active role in promoting SwingFit Golf Inc. and the game of golf in our community.
- Maintain the training centre environment, equipment, and technology.
- Responsible for efficient and friendly customer service when on-site, checking in with golfers and making proactive decisions when dealing with any customer issues.
- Respond to sales inquiries from members and visitors, helping them to complete their membership, clinic or lesson purchases online when assistance is required.
- Converse with members and guests in a friendly manner, developing relationships to encourage a friendly environment.
- Focus attention on members and guests needs and remain calm, professional, and courteous at all times.
- Help organize and promote all tournaments and other special events/functions at the facility.
- Work with the Marketing Department to be informed about promotions and to communicate important information to be published or promoted.
- Perform open and close of business functions following guidelines and procedures established by the management team.
- Ensure daily assignments are completed in their respective areas to meet all standards.
- Notify supervisors of member/guest complaints at the time they occur and resolve customer complaints as soon as possible.
- Perform additional duties as may arise and as may be assigned.
- Qualifications

- PGA of Canada member in good standing
- 2-3+ years of teaching experience
- Excellent communications and organizational skills
- Strong sales skills are considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Leadership skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Customer-service oriented
- Proficient with golf technologies (Launch monitors, video analysis & more)
- Passionate, approachable, educational and encouraging
- Desire to exceed expectations
- Club fitting considered an asset
- Knowledge of golf fitness techniques and biomechanics considered an asset
- Compensation

- Guaranteed, competitive base salary of $50,000 - $60,000 annually
- Plus commission on sales of memberships, lesson packs, group programs & facility rentals
