Responsibilities

As an Assistant Golf Professional, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to members and guests. Key responsibilities include:

  • Instruction & Coaching: Assist with golf lessons and clinics for members and guests of all skill levels.
  • Tee Time Management: Coordinate tee sheet and manage booking systems for smooth and efficient operations.
  • Club Fitting & Equipment Sales: Support club fitting services and assist with equipment sales in the pro shop.
  • Event Management: Assist in organizing and running golf tournaments, member events, and junior golf programs.
  • Member Engagement: Foster positive relationships with members, ensuring an exceptional golfing experience.
  • Pro Shop Operations: Help with the day-to-day operations of the pro shop, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
Qualifications
  • A passion for golf and a strong knowledge of the game.
  • PGA of Canada member, or actively working toward membership.
  • Previous experience in a golf operations or instruction role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse membership base.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Compensation
  • Competitive hourly wage starting at $21.00 based on experience.
  • 40 hours/weekly.
  • 80 % Lesson revenue.
