Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Golf, our Assistant Golf Professional will play an integral role in providing our members and their guests with an exceptional golf and customer experience. The Assistant Golf Professional will assist with the daily operations of the golf shop, book tee-time reservations, assist with merchandising, member services and work with the Professional Team to plan member events.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Providing an exceptional golf experience to members and their guests.
  • Assisting with day-to-day operations, including tee sheet management, merchandising, and member services.
  • Assisting with the implementation and execution of club and outside events.
  • Supervising Back Shop team members.
  • Assist with ordering and inventory management.
  • Instruct individual and group lessons, clinics, junior camps, etc.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will posses the following skills:

  • PGA of Canada Member in good standing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High level of commitment a desire to grow as a Golf Professional
  • Completion of or enrollment in the Professional Golf Management (PGM) program, or equivalent golf industry experience.
Compensation

$900 - $1000 weekly, based on credentials and experience

  • Retain 90% of Lesson Revenue
  • Participation in Year-End Bonus Program
