Assistant Golf Professional: Moncton Golf Club
As a well-established golf club in the area, Moncton Golf Club has gone through many changes and generations of memories in its 100-year history to get us to where we are today: a meticulously maintained course with a completely refreshed clubhouse where we’re ready to serve members and guests alike. We are a very busy member owned, semi-private Golf Facility located in Riverview NB with a full membership and high rates of non member play. We service Corporate Events on a weekly basis and provide many teaching opportunities through our Clinics and private teaching. With a busy proshop, opportunities for club fitting and retail sales are part of the role. We are seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to join our dedicated team, reporting to the Director of Golf and working alongside another Assistant Professional. The role will provide unlimited amounts of development and growth within our MGC team.

- Job Summary
- Ensure daily Golf Operations fall under the standard of MGC policy. Coach / instruct Women, Men and Juniors through our Clinics. Assist in the setup, execution, and tear down of all corporate and club run events. Operate our online booking system to service member booking tee times and guests.
- Responsibilities

- Supervise daily club operations
- Ensure a high level of customer service
- Supervise Golf Staff, Starters, Marshalls
- Assist in Golf Clinics Assist in daily maintenance of driving range
- Ensure golf carts are maintained daily
- Organize Proshop merchandise and backshop club storage
- Knowledge of Lightspeed, Golf genius, Microsoft Word, excel an asset
- Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour outlined as a PGA member
- Must be available throughout the Golf season including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Qualifications

- PGA member in good standing or working towards PGA member status
- Previous Golf Course experience an asset but not necessary
- A strong history of Customer Service
- Strong Communication and personable attitude
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to uphold MGC bylaws and policies.

$18-$22 /hourly Based On Experience
7 Month Contract Beginning Mid April and ending Mid November.
