Cherry Hill Club, located in picturesque Ridgeway, Ontario, is recognized as the best golf course in the Niagara area and rated among the top 20 private golf clubs in Canada. It was founded in 1922 by a group of gentlemen from Buffalo, New York who owned summer homes on Lake Erie’s Canadian shoreline, with a vision to create an exceptional private golf course. The golf course was designed by Walter J. Travis, and has been regularly modernized and updated, while remaining true to the Travis vision and strategy.

Cherry Hill Club is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to join our dynamic Professional Staff for the 2024 season and beyond. A successful candidate will deliver outstanding Member services while balancing an engaging personality with good work habits.
- Responsibilities
-
- Provide excellent service to Members and their Guests
- Execution of Club events and Member Leagues
- Lead Junior Golf Program
- Conduct private lessons and Member clinics
- Retail sales, merchandising and inventory management
- Assist in hiring and training for Member Services Team
- Manage Member Services Team
- Play a reasonable amount of golf with Members
- Eagerness to reach professional development goals
- Qualifications

- PGA of Canada Member in good standing
- Proven excellence in Member services
- Be a team player with the ability to thrive in a high paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Knowledge of equipment and club fitting
- Experience in instruction of all abilities
- Knowledge of Jonas Point of Sale, Golf Genius Tournament Software and Trackman
- Proficency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
